ChemData MiniApp 03 — SDS Register provides a structured workplace record for managing Safety Data Sheets associated with chemicals used, stored or handled at the workplace.

It helps build an accurate inventory, supports compliance and provides the foundation for effective workplace chemical management.

The MiniApp supports:

• recording chemical and product identity
• recording SDS supplier and manufacturer information
• recording SDS issue and review dates
• identifying whether a current SDS is available
• linking SDS information to workplace chemical records
• organising hazard, storage and emergency information
• identifying SDS information requiring review or updating
• searching and reviewing SDS records
• supporting workplace access to critical chemical safety information
• printing and exporting records where supported

MiniApp 03 is a chemical-management support tool. It assists with organising and accessing SDS information but does not replace the manufacturer’s current Safety Data Sheet, professional judgement, workplace consultation, site-specific risk assessment or compliance with applicable legislation.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that SDS information is current, applicable to the actual chemical or product being used and available to workers as required.
