Chemical Storage & Location
MiniApp 07 provides a structured workplace record of where chemicals are stored, the quantities present, the storage area or container used and the controls needed to maintain safe and suitable storage.
Instead of storage information being scattered across spreadsheets, maps and local knowledge, the MiniApp brings chemical identity, location, quantity, storage type, compatibility, segregation and key controls into one accessible workplace record.
Renewal is manual. The licence does not automatically renew.
Good storage control starts with knowing exactly what is where
The Storage & Location Register provides a controlled workplace record of chemical locations, storage arrangements, quantities and related storage controls.
Rather than relying on memory or disconnected site records, it helps users identify storage locations, record quantities, review storage suitability, identify compatibility or segregation requirements and keep location information current as conditions change.
Six steps from confirmed receipt to controlled storage
Turn storage information into a controlled location record
You Provide
- Chemical or product identity
- Current quantity and container / package type
- Site, building, room, store, cabinet, tank or other location
- Storage class or storage arrangement
- Known incompatibilities or segregation requirements
- Existing site maps or storage references
- Known capacity, access or emergency requirements
The MiniApp Organises
- Chemical and storage-location record
- Quantity and container details
- Storage type, area and capacity information
- Compatibility and segregation requirements
- Location map or reference
- Storage controls and restrictions
- Storage gaps, exceptions and corrective actions
- Review or relocation triggers
Six questions that test whether the location is suitable and usable
Is the correct chemical linked to a clearly identified storage location?
Are current quantities, container types and relevant capacity limits known?
Is the storage area suitable for the chemical, quantity and container type?
Have incompatibilities and required separation or segregation controls been identified?
Can workers and emergency responders readily identify where the chemical is stored?
Does the record need updating because the chemical, quantity, location or arrangement changed?
MiniApp Logic — The Storage Status Check
Missing or unclear storage information does not mean the MiniApp should guess. It means the location, quantity, capacity, compatibility or storage arrangement requires workplace verification.
A visible, structured and reviewable workplace storage record
Where each chemical is stored and the quantity present.
Storage type, capacity and relevant controls recorded.
Known incompatibilities and required separation controls made visible.
Location references, storage issues and change triggers maintained.
MiniApp 07 takes over once MiniApp 06 confirms receipt
The workflow now reflects the way chemicals actually arrive and are controlled: MiniApp 06 manages transport, transfer and confirmed receipt; MiniApp 07 then controls where the chemical is stored, how much is present and whether the location remains suitable.
The same location and quantity information can support the Chemical Register, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, signs and manifests, inspections, handover and waste management.
Storage information is useful when the people who need it can find it
Locate the chemical. Check the storage. Keep the record current.
The Storage & Location Register is designed to make workplace chemical storage visible without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Routine location and quantity information can remain simple, while changes in capacity, compatibility, segregation or storage conditions are surfaced for review.
Record the location. Check compatibility. Make it visible. Review when things change.
Important Use Notice
ChemDataMiniApps™ are educational, workplace-assistance and assurance tools designed to support structured chemical-management decisions. The Storage & Location Register can assist users to organise chemical locations, quantities and storage information, but it does not determine whether a storage installation or arrangement is legally compliant or technically suitable.
Users remain responsible for confirming actual chemical locations, quantities, classifications, compatibility and site conditions, and for ensuring storage arrangements meet current SDS, legislative, dangerous-goods, fire, environmental and organisational requirements.
SafeChemEdu does not warrant that a recorded storage arrangement satisfies every legal, engineering or site-specific requirement. Where there is any inconsistency or uncertainty, current SDS information, applicable legislation, approved site standards and competent workplace advice take precedence.
Know what is stored, where it is and whether the arrangement works
Link chemicals to real locations, record quantities and capacity, check compatibility and segregation, make storage visible and keep the record current as conditions change.
