Purpose of this Policy

This policy supports transparency, responsible use of intellectual property, protection of SafeChemEdu-created materials and appropriate handling of licensed or third-party assets.

Ownership of Original Content

SafeChemEdu retains copyright and other applicable intellectual-property rights in original materials created for the website, training programs, digital products and related services, including but not limited to:

• Written content, text and training modules
• Course structures, assessments and learning resources
• Website content, branding and original design elements
• Custom graphics, diagrams and composite works
• Templates, registers, forms, flowcharts and implementation resources
• Original software interfaces, structured workflows and related product content
• Derivative works created by or for SafeChemEdu where rights are held by SafeChemEdu

Trade Marks & Brand Assets

SafeChemEdu uses distinctive names, logos, device marks and visual brand assets to identify its education, workplace-tool and chemical-governance products. The following marks are used as SafeChemEdu brand identifiers.

SafeChemEdu™, ChemDataMiniApps™ and ChemDataVault™, together with their associated logos, device marks, graphics and visual identity, may not be copied, altered, reproduced, republished or used in a way that suggests ownership, endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation without prior permission.

Trade mark applications or registration processes may be pending or in progress. Nothing on this page should be interpreted as representing that a mark is registered unless the ® symbol is expressly displayed for that mark.

Use of Licensed Media

SafeChemEdu may use licensed media from Microsoft Clipchamp and other approved providers. This may include stock images, template elements, icons, audio, video components and other licensed assets.

Such assets are used only in accordance with the applicable licence terms under which they were obtained. Depending on the applicable licence, permitted use may include:

• Commercial use
• Embedding in websites, videos and training materials
• Modification and adaptation where permitted
• Use without attribution where the applicable licence permits it

SafeChemEdu does not claim ownership of third-party licensed stock media. Ownership remains with the applicable rights holder.

Restrictions on Licensed Media

SafeChemEdu does not knowingly:

• Redistribute licensed stock media as standalone files
• Sell or license Clipchamp or third-party assets independently
• Provide downloadable versions of licensed media outside permitted integrated use
• Claim copyright ownership over third-party stock imagery or media

Licensed media is used as part of integrated educational, digital-product, website or marketing content in accordance with the applicable licence.

Embedded Use on SafeChemEdu Platforms

Licensed or third-party images and media may appear as:

• Background images
• Decorative or illustrative elements
• Embedded graphics within training pages
• Visual components of course materials
• Product-page or application interface illustrations

Such material remains subject to the licence conditions applying to the original asset.

Where a product, course, MiniApp, software service or downloadable resource is supplied under specific licence terms, those product-specific conditions also apply.
